My first cycling trip to Bassano del Grappa with Cyclo holidays was the perfect blend of epic cycling and Italian cuisine.

Spending 2 days working out way through the presseco hills taking in the stunning scenery and wine along the way.

After this we conquered the legendary Monte Grappa climb, where we had the thrill was watching the Giro d’Italia race the same roads; the electric atmosphere and the sight of the professionals conquering the climb was truly unforgettable.

This trip of cycling and culinary indulgence was truely amazing and I would highly recommend. I have already booked for next year!

“I joined Cyclo Holidays for the Riviera trip in June, and it was easily the best decision I’ve made all year! The whole experience was completely seamless; the only thing I had to do was make sure I booked the right flights. Every other aspect of the holiday was sorted before I’d even arrived, meaning the whole experience was just so relaxed and easy. Everything about the trip was so well thought-out, from the routes and pacing, the general itinerary, the food (especially the food) and every other little thing that came up. The best part of the course is the people. Francesco has done an amazing job developing such a welcoming and friendly community that no matter who joined on this trip, it would have been just as fun and full of laughs. All I can say is you definitely get what you pay for and more on these trips!”

Italian Riviera Escape

The Bassano trip was just incredible and I am so glad I went. It was the perfect blend of long days in the saddle with plenty of coffee and amazing Italian food to get us around.

One of the highlights was ticking off the Grappa climb before lunch, to then see the Giro peloton go past before descending – an experience I’ll never forget!

Francesco made so much effort to make sure we all had a wonderful time and were taken care of. It really is the best kind of holiday if you like cycling and good food!

Bassano, what can I say, just an all round amazing trip. From the moment we touched down, till the time to depart it was absolutely fabulous and well organised .Very well organised and inclusive rides with fabulous routes, visits to the vineyards, wine tasting and fabulous food. Bassano club house was brillInt and the hosts Ben and Susie were so welcoming and knowledgeable. The highlight of the trip was riding up Monte Grappa and seeing the Giro go by. I went on this trip solo as a newbie to cyclo and immediately felt welcomed. A must do trip which you won’t regret .

Loved every single day of this holiday! The cycling routes were fantastic and clearly curated with care, taking us through the most beautiful corners of Emilia Romagna. The local food was incredible (OMG I ate so much!!), and the whole trip offered a real taste of the Italian _dolce vita_. It was a truly special and memorable experience for me.

Francesco pours his heart and soul into creating these trips, and his passion for cycling and his homeland is genuinely contagious.

Francesco and Adeline did an amazing job of organising great rides and other activities, and it really felt like we were on holiday with friends whom we had known for years. The cycling was gorgeous, varied, and challenging. The hotel was amazing, right on top of the beach and with lovely food. Trips to the olive farm for lunch, cocktails at sunset on the hill and gelatos on the beach were special highlights!”
