These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of www.cycloholidays.co.uk and any services, bookings, or experiences offered by Cyclo Holidays, operated by Bicycle Lane Ltd (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing our website or purchasing a service, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our site and services.

2. Use of Website
The content of this website is for general information only and is subject to change without notice. We strive to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that all details, pricing, or descriptions are error-free. Unauthorized use of this website may result in legal action.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to book or participate in our holidays or services. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
4. Booking and Payments
· A booking is confirmed once a deposit is received and written confirmation has been sent by Cyclo Holidays.
· The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline stated on your invoice or booking confirmation.
· All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
· Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
· Cyclo Holidays reserves the right to modify prices before a booking is confirmed.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
a. Cancellations by the Client
· All cancellations must be made in writing to info@cycloholidays.co.uk.
· Deposits are non-refundable once confirmed.
· Cancellations 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund of the remaining balance.
· Cancellations within 30 days of departure: no refund applies.
· Refunds are processed within 30 working days.
b. Cancellations by Cyclo Holidays
We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to safety concerns, extreme weather, insufficient bookings, or events beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer to another available trip.
6. Changes to Your Trip
Minor adjustments to itineraries, accommodation, or activities may occur due to weather, logistics, or safety. If significant changes are required, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an equivalent or improved alternative.
7. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants and must include medical coverage, accident, and repatriation specific to cycling activities. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure.
8. Fitness, Health, and Safety
Participants must ensure they are physically fit and capable of completing the selected trip. Helmets are mandatory during all rides.
Cyclo Holidays reserves the right to refuse participation if a guest’s condition could pose a risk to themselves or others.
9. Equipment and Personal Property
Participants using personal bicycles or gear are responsible for their maintenance and condition. Cyclo Holidays is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property unless caused by proven negligence.
10. Our Liability
We take every measure to deliver a safe and enjoyable experience. However, Cyclo Holidays shall not be held liable for:
· Any injury, loss, delay, or damage resulting from unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.
· Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.
· Force majeure events, including but not limited to weather disruptions, strikes, or government restrictions.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Behaviour and Conduct
We expect all guests to act respectfully toward fellow riders, guides, and local communities. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the trip without refund.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, designs, photos, videos, and written materials are the intellectual property of Cyclo Holidays or its licensors. Use, reproduction, or distribution of any content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking or using our site, you consent to such processing.
14. Complaints and Disputes
If you experience any issue during your trip, please notify your guide or our office immediately so we can attempt to resolve it on the spot.
Formal complaints should be sent to info@cycloholidays.co.uk within 14 days of trip completion.
15. Force Majeure
Cyclo Holidays is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemics, or government actions.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute or claim shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
